Hello Cyborgs,

Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard on this update, and it’s finally here. We’ve named it “A New Beginning”, and that’s not by chance.

This update marks a real shift in how we approach QANGA. It lays stronger foundations for the game, while also changing how players experience their first hours in the world. From the very beginning, the focus is now on clarity, immersion, and giving more meaning to what you do and where you are.

With a reworked tutorial, new early-game quests, updated Relay Towers, a redesigned Warp experience, and a seasonal Christmas event, this update represents an important step forward for both the game and the experience we want to build with you.

Below, you’ll find an overview of the main additions, followed by the full patch notes with all the details.

HIGHLIGHTS

Reworked tutorial experience

The tutorial has been heavily reworked. It’s no longer just about explaining basic controls, but about giving players a proper first contact with QANGA.

You’ll still learn the core gameplay systems, how to move, interact, manage your equipment, and use the tools you’ll rely on throughout the game, but the flow has been redesigned to feel more natural and easier to follow. The goal is to help you understand not just how things work, but why they matter.

This new tutorial also plays an important role in setting up the universe. It introduces Tona, a key character in QANGA’s lore, and starts to give meaning and context to what you’re doing. Without revealing too much, it helps establish the tone of the world and the direction the story will take later on.

Overall, this reworked tutorial is meant to make your first moments in QANGA clearer, more engaging, and more grounded in both gameplay and story.

Here are a few screenshots of the new tutorial. We don’t want to reveal too much, we’d rather let you discover it on your own.

Important note: For narrative reasons, the new tutorial is available in offline mode only. To access it, please select “Play Tutorial” from the offline menu.

If you have already completed the previous version of the tutorial, you will need to use “Reset Character” to play the new one. Please note that this will fully reset your offline progression.

New early-game quests

A few new quests are now available once you leave the tutorial, near the Djibouti Relay Tower. There aren’t many of them yet, and that’s intentional.

These missions act as a first step into what comes next. They allow us to put the new quest system into real conditions, while giving you a small preview of the kind of content we want to add going forward, both in terms of gameplay and narrative.

From now on, you can expect more regular updates with new quests added over time. We’ll of course continue working on systems, performance, and improvements, but we also want to start delivering more playable content for you to discover.

Updated Relay Towers

Relay Towers have been updated to make them easier to read and navigate. New signs and information screens have been added to help you quickly identify rooms, services, and points of interest.

Whether you’re looking for a shop, a garage, or a mission-related location, the goal is to reduce confusion and make moving through Relay Towers feel more natural. Room names and visual cues have been clarified to create a more consistent layout across all towers.

These changes should make Relay Towers more comfortable to use, especially for new players, while also improving day-to-day navigation for returning ones.

Warps v2

Warps are space stations that allow you to travel quickly between distant locations using your ship. With this update, they’ve been fully redesigned as part of Warp V2.

From the outside, Warps are now easier to spot and read when approaching them in space. Their overall look has been updated so they feel more like real, functional stations rather than just abstract travel points. The goal was to make them stand out more clearly during navigation, while fitting better into the universe of QANGA.

Inside the Warps, the experience has also been reworked. The layout is clearer, the spaces are easier to understand, and moving through a Warp feels more natural. Instead of being just a quick transition, Warps now feel like proper locations you pass through during your journey.

For the holiday season, Warps also received a small Christmas touch. A few seasonal decorations have been added to give them a bit more personality, without changing how they work.

New Recovery Terminal

A new Recovery Terminal has been added to make setting your respawn point clearer and more intuitive. Instead of relying on abstract menus, this is now handled directly through an in-world interaction.

This terminal is easy to spot and understand, and it helps ground an important gameplay feature directly into the environment. It also adds a bit more roleplay to shared hubs and key locations.

Overall, this change gives players more control and clarity, while fitting naturally into QANGA’s universe.

Christmas event content

A Christmas event is now live in Relay Towers and Warps. These locations have been decorated for the season, bringing a festive atmosphere to places you’ll regularly pass through.

Gifts can be found placed near the Christmas tree. They contain collectible items and offer a small seasonal interaction while you’re moving through these hubs. A festive cosmetic item is also available in the Equipment Store for those who want to take part in the event a bit more.

It’s a light, temporary addition, meant to add a bit of warmth and fun to the world of QANGA during the holidays.

These are the main additions of this update, and below you’ll find the full patch notes detailing all changes, improvements, and fixes.

This update is an important one for us. “A New Beginning” is not just a name, it represents a turning point in how we want QANGA to grow, both in terms of structure and player experience.

That said, we’re fully aware that an update of this scale will likely come with things to adjust, refine, or fix. This is part of the process, and over the coming weeks we’ll be closely monitoring feedback and rolling out fixes and improvements where needed.

Your feedback is especially important right now. The reworked tutorial and the new early-game quests are key building blocks for what comes next, and we want to know how they feel in real gameplay conditions. What works, what doesn’t, what feels right, and what needs improvement.

If you want to share your thoughts, ask questions, or report issues, we invite you to join us on Discord and take part in the discussion with the team and the community.

As always, thank you for playing QANGA and for being part of this journey with us. Let’s build this new beginning together.
