"Phases" are like your skill points, you get them when you earn a levelup.
Your modules can host Phases to unlock the functionality of the upgraded module.
By upgrading your jetpack module to phase 2, you gain access to high-speed flight capability.
Simply activate this function by pressing the SHIFT key or pushing the MOUSE WHEEL UPWARDS while operating your jetpack.
